My ways of Testing For Intelligence!

The most important thing when it comes to testing a kid is their behavior and actions. I’m for the testing their minds out, but it doesn’t determine the child in a whole. I think we should look out everything from how child acts and behave in certain ways. Always the language of the child. Most teachers and parents are quick to judge their kids from their test scores. When it could just simply been a bad day. Knowing the child from their behaviors can tell a lot some time. No one just says you can know if child is smart from his or her test scores. Standardized testing is something to just dividend kids into levels to me. Some kids do very well in testing, and fail in other parts. Some don’t do well in testing but succeed in others parts. With that said we all learn things different.

Today’s world is very different in different countries. In America we have what you call government assistant. In other countries that are poor kids just starved to death. Everyday I wake in morning I thank god for making my days less stressful. Cause I know its some family out there have a harder time just finding food to eat each day.

One summer when I was in Jamaica, I just watch how this little boy eat like the food was never going to be here again on earth. Then I thought to myself I’m here stressing about nothing when this child haven’t eaten in days. There are  so many hungry children in the world today. I don’t know the total number of kids, but its millions of kids without food in the world. I know in US we have programs like Feeding America or Feeding Africa, but what about the world. A child of God is a child of everyone in the world. I just know in time we will lower child hungry in world we live in each day. 

NUTRITION

I choose to proper nutrition as my topic. Its so important for babies to grow up healthy eating the right food. What you eat can determine how your brain function. When you first get pregnant the doctor always tell you what diet you need to be on for a healthy baby. Its so important that every child gets the nutritional balance of food they need in every meal. Because if they don’t it could cause so many problem with baby. Like when some babies are born they are too small to go home. 

So its very important that the mother eat right while carrying the child. Before and after birth for breastfeeding the baby. Breastfeeding ensure the baby will always get what you eat. So what you eat the baby eat. Some people with different culture say breastfeeding is the best. In America we mostly use formula. I think breastfeeding is the best and only way to make sure you have a healthy baby. And also teaching the child what’s the proper food to eat.

My First Birth Experience

My first birth experience was my best friend daughter in Jamaica The experience was something to remember she was in so much pain that day. She was in labor for 10 hours.  She wanted the epidural since day one she found out she was pregnant. She always said it no way I’m having her baby natural. They give her the medicine soon after a lot of screaming baby Zonal was born.  Since the baby was so little they had to stay in the hospital for couple of days. She was in tears at first thing something was wrong with the baby. But doctor told her everything is ok the baby just was small. I learn that most woman in Jamaica have a midwife to deliver their baby natural. Midwife's are somebody trained to deliver babies at home for mothers. After birth Jamaica women are to stay home, as housewife till the baby is around 3 years of age. Till she or he is ready for pre-school. Before birth they are not allowed to work when they find out they are expected a child. In United States most women work up to 9 months or two weeks before delivering. I don’t now why, but most American women work during and after birth. They take their six weeks and get back to the life. I know that most be pretty tough to handle doing, but they have to provide for your family. I just think being a mother is a job, and every mother should be able to stay a home one-year. I wish I could pass that bill in congress. Happy Mothers day to all the amazing women in this world. I admire you all thanks.

As teachers we have the same target. To do our best to deliver the best education to our kids. This only saying no matter what it takes we as teacher will go out our way to make sure each kid is getting the care and education they need.

To ensure that all children including those with special needs, have access to the support services needed to be successful. Sometimes as people we don’t understand or know need of each kid we are working with in a classroom. But its so important that we understand kids with special need, letting them know we are with them no matter what their situation or needs is. Most time kids with special need are so scared to learn because of this problem. We as teachers are here and place in different area to help these kids make their dream come true. Education is important no matter what’s the problem with kids Support is a must as a educator.

Helping family members enrich their understanding of their children and support the continuing development of their skills as parents. As family we are the biggest and greatest support system in  the kids life. If no one understand the kids it should be their own family. Its like love at first site, family helps the kids build the love they need to start this journey call the life. Many kids are so lost, because if the lack of support from their family. They develop this attitude they need anyone one in life. They become what you call a loner, someone who feels alone in the world. So its so important that parents understand their kids actions and behavior. And as teachers we have to talk with the parents to work with the kids and better understand the problem.
